Once construction ends, the question is: is the building officially ready for use? The occupancy certificate answers that, confirming it matches its permit and safety requirements.
When do you need it?
- For permanent electricity and water connections.
- For sale, transfer or mortgage.
- For unit sorting and apartment deeds.
Inspect before you file
We always recommend a pre-inspection comparing the built work with the approved drawings. Any deviation, even a small one, can bounce the application. Fixing issues before filing is far quicker than after.
